| Articles Can You Believe It?  Wow! Can you believe it? It seems like it was only yesterday that the world was bracing up for a barrage of unexpected and imaginable events that would accompany the much anticipated year of 2000. And yet, here we are sailing into our 10th year (actually, our 11th year) of the 21st century. Where have the years gone? I'm beginning to understand the aging process-- and that's scary. And you know, I've noticed that there are 5 words that seem to weave a familiar thread throughout the start, middle and endings of my conversations--"it seems like only yesterday", yes, it seems like only yesterday that I was a bright-eyed 16yr. old, who was graduating from high school and on my way off to college, it seems like only yesterday that I was getting married, it seems like only yesterday, that I had given birth to my son, that he started pre-school, that he co-starred in the Japanese version of Cindelelewah (Cinderella) as her father??? (who knew?). And heck from there, he seemed to have sprinted very quickly through high school and off to an institution of higher learning--not to mention that he's now in the process of grabbing hold of that very 'grown-up' job. My, how the time has flown. So before I blink and find my self suddenly in the year of 2011, I'd like to say that I hope 2010 will be a far better year than the previous 2009 year was. I hope that we can accomplish our dreams and enjoy good health. I hope we find ourselves laughing loud and often, and gracefully dancing up a storm. And I'd like to extend an invitation for a visit.
